Joshua Harris majored in Political Science at Morehouse College, where he earned the distinction of valedictorian of his class. As a student, Joshua volunteered in the Department of Biology as a tutor, was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Morehouse College Mock Trial Team, and Atlanta University Center Orchestra. He was also co-captain of the Morehouse College tennis team, where he was named Most Valuable Team Member during the 2007 SIAC championship. Joshua hopes to pursue a career in law. He is currently employed by Teach for America in Atlanta and plans to attend law school afterwards.

During his first summer at the Institute, Josh interned in the Media Bureau and Wireless Telecommunications Bureau at the Federal Communications Center. In 2008, he interned in the corporate giving office of Friedman Billings Ramsey.
